FYNDROLE field guide

What does an ATS readiness score mean?

FYNDROLE reviews the resume you provide and gives you a readiness estimate with practical feedback. It is a way to decide what to improve, not a score issued by an employer or a prediction of whether you will get an interview.

Keep in mindUse the score to find a specific edit you can verify. Keep the facts of your experience intact.

What does FYNDROLE check?

The review looks at formatting, clarity, relevant keywords, evidence of impact, and whether the document can be read reliably. A readable file matters because important details may be missed when text is trapped in images, unusual layouts, or broken export layers.

The report shows strengths and changes to consider. You should check every suggestion against your real experience before using it. A keyword belongs in your resume only when you can support it with work you actually did.

Is this the score an employer will see?

No. Employers use different application systems and screening processes, and many do not assign a single ATS score. FYNDROLE cannot see an employer’s private rules. The estimate also does not measure the full judgment a recruiter or hiring manager will make.

If you provide a job description, compare its requirements with your documented work separately from the general readiness estimate. A well-formatted resume can still be a poor match for a particular role.

Why can a rewritten or reuploaded file score differently?

A rewrite can improve the wording and structure that the review reads. Exporting that rewrite to PDF or DOCX can also change the text extracted from the file. The score shown while drafting and the score from a newly uploaded file may therefore reflect different text or a different assessment pass.

Compare the actual exported document with your original: check headings, dates, job titles, measurable results, and whether text can be selected and copied. If a file appears unchanged but its score changes unexpectedly, use the report details and contact support with the file type and steps you took.

What should you do next?

Start with the highest-priority issue that is both accurate and fixable. Make one clear edit, export the document, and read the entire file before applying. If you have a target job, check whether your experience genuinely covers its required skills and responsibilities.

  • Keep familiar headings for experience, education, and skills.
  • Describe outcomes and responsibilities in plain language.
  • Add role-specific terms only where they truthfully describe your work.
  • Open the exported file and confirm that its text is readable.
